Welcome To Protsahan

Protsahan India is a Non profit, not governmental Organization, engaged in community motivation programs, to create awareness, capacity building, for overall development of both rural and urban communities. Protsahan is a not for profit, non-governmental organization, set up to create relevant social awareness build capacity for sustainable livelihoods.

Poverty, both urban and rural, has many dimensions. Many steps in different directions are being taken to  alleviate poverty, there remain some structural lacunae that prevent the government schemes from being effective and make the efforts of the NGOs not as effective as desired. The most common ill that community development schemes face is lack of sustainability, Protsahan strives to plug these lacunae. 


The vast potential for development remains untapped due to lack of awareness and lack of capacity in the communities to utilize it. Protsahan is an organization that caters to a need that is often overlooked by grass-root NGOs. This need is that of awareness, of building capacities and of generating solutions through sharing of knowledge and experience. Protsahan creates awareness on health issues, need for education, sustainable lifestyles, environment, women’s is issues and other issues pertaining to the overall well-being of poor and backward communities. It build capacities of communities to help them secure sustainable livelihood options for themselves. It will bring people together at all levels, for discussions, deliberations and experience sharing. And finally from all this experience, Protsahan generates policy inputs to ensure more judicious decision making for the poor and the weak of all sections of the society. In a word Protsahan aims to build confident communities that would be sufficiently aware and capable to face the onslaught of change, Creating awareness, building capacities and policy advocacy are the three most important areas of work for Protsahan. 

OBJECTIVES

  • To promote information, collaborations and constructive communication between NGO’s, to develop effective partnerships with each others.

  • Networking for the access, sharing and dissemination of information, collaboration and partnership between NGO’s themselves and with other organizations. 

  • To be the most preferred strategic CSR partner, facilitate corporate investments to be seamlessly channelized through discovery of implementation partners and help them achieve sustainability through responsible business practices. 

  • Capacity building of grassroots level NGOs, social workers through free online resources and information on a single platform. 

  • To serve non-profit organizations, charities, grassroots and community groups, educational and research institutions. 

  • Sharing of ideas among NGOs and development agents. 

  • Provide more options before funding agencies to select the right choice of organization to support and work with.

  • To conduct grooming classes for the backward class students, enhance their skills to get better in life. 

  • To help and support ageing citizens being tortured by society and motivate them to love life instead of feeling depressed. 

  • To create awareness that ‘being sixty’ is not a problem, rather it’s an opportunity to keep engaged and use their potential knowledge and lifetime achievements for the betterment of the society.
